Wandsworth Council is investing in improvements to eight play areas for residents of Carey Gardens, Patmore Estate, Savona Estate and other residents who live in the area to enjoy.
This programme of improvements is part of the Council’s use of funding from Nine Elms developments to invest in local transport and roads, new parks, leisure, health and school facilities, and opening up the Thames river path. The investment in these sport and play areas was secured from the nearby building developments.
Following requests from residents for better facilities in their immediate neighbourhoods, the Council ran a consultation in 2019 to gather views from local residents on what they wanted and which existing facilities could be improved. Eight designs have now been developed from ideas submitted by residents.
We now want to hear your feedback on these latest designs for sport and play areas in your neighbourhood. The consultation is open until 8 November 2020.
Send in your feedback now using the online form on the Wandsworth Council website.
