The popular Happy Streets Festival is set to return to the Nine Elms area this July, bringing live performances and activities with a focus on wellbeing and happiness.

Expressions of interest are now open for artists and organisations to get involved in the festival. If you have a ready-made act or a brand-new idea that would fit the core theme of happiness and wellbeing, get in touch with Swans Events who are delivering the festival on behalf of Wandsworth Council.

Applications are welcome from all art forms including:

  • Indoor and outdoor activities/performance
  • live performance eg music, dance, theatre, circus
  • street theatre, trails and walkabout acts
  • sports activities and games
  • talks and debates
  • workshops and classes
  • arts & craft.

Local artists and organisations will be prioritised and applications are particularly welcomed from communities that are currently underrepresented in the arts.

The festival will be held across neighbouring sites on Saturday 15 July 2023.

Download a PDF of the Happy Streets 2023 Creative Content brief for artist applications.

Applications of interest close on Monday 13 February 2023 at 10am.

Contact Swans Events with any questions about the process by emailing hello@swansevents.co.uk
