London’s longest running collection of Caribbean restaurants is heading south – Cottons, St Georges Wharf in Vauxhall.

Bringing the exotic vibes of the Caribbean to South London in true tiki style, Cottons will take over an enviable riverside location on the south bank, with an indoor restaurant and rum shack bar, and additional seating on the sunny river-facing outside terrace.

Spreading the contagious spirit of the Caribbean – Cottons Vauxhall’s food, drink and trademark colourful interiors will all be totally tropical, centred around an innovative Caribbean menu inspired by islands from Jamaica to Margarita.

Cottons signatures such as 48-marinated jerk chicken wings (grilled & smoked over coal, oak wood chips, hickory and pimiento); spiced salt fish fritters with green mango chutney and chilli jam; and lobster & crayfish mac n cheese will sit alongside classics including curried mutton with fried plantain; and Ital vegetable curry with rice ‘n’ peas and dumplings. A vast rum shack bar will accompany, featuring 300 different rums sourced from around the world alongside a carefully curated list of exotic rum-based cocktails to match.
