Are you looking for a new job and thinking about getting into construction or working locally?

Come along to Wandsworth Council’s construction jobs monthly open day at the ROSE community centre to see if there’s a job or training course for you.

The council’s Work Match team are helping local construction companies fill vacancies in hundreds of roles across the Battersea and Nine Elms area.

From apprentices and trainees to graduates and experienced workers, there is a huge range of construction opportunities available to local people. The benefits of working on a local development project include lower transport costs for you and a shorter journey to work each day.

To help you get the job which is right for you, the Work Match team offers access to:

  • CSCS and other construction-related training
  • construction work experience
  • construction jobs
  • construction apprenticeships
  • construction graduate programmes.

When

Drop in between 10am and 1pm to chat for free with one of the friendly Work Match team who can advise on training, applying for jobs and getting you ready for work.

The open days will be held each month on:

  • Thursday 11 May 2023, 10am-1pm
  • Thursday 8 June 2023, 10am-1pm

New dates may be added for summer/autumn 2023 – to be confirmed
