The newly inaugurated Source Cafe on Thessaly Road in Nine Elms is quickly poised to be a neighbourhood favourite. With spring and summer on their way, the independent coffee shop, chocolatier, and gelateria offers a vast selected of artisanal Italian ice creams.
Rich, decadent, and mouth watering , the ice cream flavours are luscious and delectable. The fresh organic coffee and baked goods make this spot a wellspring for locals and visitors to the area.
Why ‘Source Cafe’?
Because the owners, Regis and Veronique, are passionate about ensuring the perfect ingredients for their craft; they travel to France, Italy, Madagascar, Sao Tome, and Ivory Coast to get the best products at their place of origin. Catch Regis and he’ll tell you his stories of venturing into the wilderness of Madagascar or savoring the best matcha from Japan.
The two are close friends and bring their own expertise to make the top quality food. Everything is organic, fair trade, and comes from the source.

They also host workshops for chocolate-making and create treats for special occasions like Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day. Open Monday to Friday 8:00 till 17:00, and Saturdays 9:00 till 17:00 make sure to stop by for an exquisite goodie or two.
