On Saturday 22 September 2018, 10am – 4pm, Powerleague will be officially launching our new football pitches here at New Covent Garden Market with a community day. Operated by Powerleague, these five 5-a-side pitches and one 7-a-side pitch are a much-desired new sports facility for our neighbours who have long wanted immediate and direct access to high-quality sports facilities on their doorstep. The opening will be a day for our local community to come together – families, community groups and leaders – to celebrate, have fun and play football.
