Battersea Power Station Community Choir is an energetic contemporary community choir, open to everyone from the local area.

Conductor Sam Evans leads a wide range of popular music, with every song taught by ear, as he believes music should be a joy and available to everybody without barriers. You don’t need to have a great voice, a musical background, nor be able to read music!

The choir is fully funded by Battersea Power Station Development Company, and performs regularly at various venues, including at the Power Station, across Battersea and further afield.

Members come from the widest range of backgrounds – the youngest member is four, and the eldest is in their eighties!

There are some professional singers, others with very limited musical experience and everything in between –  and everyone is supported to join in. There are no auditions and if you sing a wrong note, it just doesn’t matter.

New members are encouraged to simply turn up and start singing!
