Starting in 1920s Milan, the tradition of Aperitivo Alla Milanese was born – a kind of warm up to dinner that takes place at the end of the workday with a drink and a light snack. What could be more inviting?

The new mother restaurant has brought this tradition to their Circus West Village location every Friday from 5 to 7pm. It’s the perfect post-work, pre-dinner gathering with cold meats, cheeses, a few slices of pizza and a glass of wine or any drink from the bar. All for £10. Their mozzarella cheese balls are outrageously addictive. Meanwhile, a resident DJ keeps the #Friyay flavour fuelled.

mother’s mix of Italian coziness and Scandinavian simplicity is the perfect spot for a tasty lunch, a riverside dinner or a buffet brunch.

That’s right: every weekend from 11am to 3pm, mother fills the counters with pasta salads, cold meats, freshly wood fired pizzas, homemade pastries, granola, eggs & bread for a buffet brunch. You can fill your plates as much as you want for £17.

What mother is renowned for is their trademark sourdough pizzas – made with purified seawater and baked in a wood-fired oven. It makes the pizzas very light and healthy. This back-to-nature approach by owners David Biffani and Nick Pound is behind the acclaimed dough recipe and the fresh and organic produce.

Located at the first railway arch at Circus West Village, the restaurant has a spacious front with heaters that warm the place. Check out their menu below and head on over to enjoy the exquisite eatery: http://www.motherrestaurant.co.uk/
