Are you an artist, organisation or venue?

The Happy Streets Festival is returning to Nine Elms this July and we are seeking expressions of interest from artists, local organisations and venues to develop the festival programme

Happy Streets is a free, indoor and outdoor, multi-arts festival aimed at families living in Nine Elms to promote wellbeing. This year the festival is provisionally scheduled for Saturday 9 July. Check out the action from last year to get a flavour of the day.

Commissioned by Wandsworth Council, the festival presents a varied programme of high-quality performances and creative opportunities, as well as signposting residents and visitors to initiatives that support happiness and wellbeing.

Wandsworth Council have commissioned Swans Events to undertake scoping and development work for Happy Streets 2022.

If you have a ready-made act or a brand-new idea that meets the festival aims, we would love to hear from you! If you are proposing something new and bespoke for the festival, you only need to send your initial ideas and estimate costs.

The festival will prioritise local artists/organisations, but applications are open to everyone and all art forms:

● Indoor and outdoor activities/performance
● live performance – music, dance, theatre, circus
● talks and debates
● workshops and classes
● arts & craft
● sports activities
● street theatre and walkabout acts.

To express your interest in being part of the festival, read the Happy Streets Creative Brief and send your submission to alex@swansevents.co.uk before the closing date.

Submissions close Monday 14 February 2022 at 12pm.

Early submissions are encouraged to assist funding applications.
