Nine Elms Vauxhall open days this July

This July local residents are invited to a pair of open days where they can find out more about the changes taking places across Nine Elms Vauxhall.

Everyone’s talking about Nine Elms but come and see what it means for you.

Local people are invited to a two-day exhibition taking place in the grounds of Battersea Power Station.

When:

Thursday  11 July, 3pm – 8pm

Friday 12 July, 8am – 6pm

Where:

Battersea Power Station

118 Kirtling Street (Gate 2)

Battersea

SW8 5BN

The event will be an opportunity to talk to those involved and to register for jobs and training opportunities linked to the project.

Highlights will include:

  • A scale model of the regeneration plans
  • Information about transport upgrades including the Northern line extension, changes to the Vauxhall Gyratory, new cycle and walking routes and a proposed new bridge
  • Plans for new parks, a river walk and public squares
  • Details of new affordable homes, schools and health centres
  • Plans for two new town centres at Vauxhall and Battersea Power Station

There is no need to RSVP, just turn up on the day.
