The team behind the regeneration of Nine Elms is setting up shop with a pop-up pizza wagon at Battersea’s Doddington and Rollo Estate on Saturday 21st November. Offering free pizza, representatives from The Nine Elms Vauxhall Partnership will be based outside Tesco from 11am-3pm.

The team will be on hand to answer any questions about the local opportunities and benefits that are being created through the area’s regeneration and to listen to locals’ suggestions. Meet the team over a free slice of pizza to find out more about current job opportunities and those in the pipeline, housing, improved transport and new community facilities in the area. There is no need to RSVP, visitors can just turn up on the day.

Throughout the area underutilised industrial land is being transformed into new public squares, parks, schools, tube stations, homes and businesses.

About Nine Elms on the South Bank:
Nine Elms on the South Bank is the £15 billion opportunity area between Lambeth Bridge and Chelsea Bridge, and is one of the largest regeneration projects in Europe. The area, which includes part of Wandsworth and Lambeth, is being transformed from one of the capital’s last remaining industrial districts into a world-class destination right in the heart of London.

Already home to Vauxhall and Battersea Power Station, the area will also be home to the new Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the new U.S. Embassy.

Throughout the area underutilised industrial land is being transformed into new public squares, parks, schools, Tube stations, homes, and businesses. It is fast becoming a strikingly modern addition to London and a new centre for culture on London’s South Bank.
