Matt’s Gallery are looking for Neighbours to help spread the word and share their thoughts about the new exhibitions, events and work going on at Matt’s new home in Nine Elms.

If you live in Battersea or Nine Elms within a 15-minute walk of Matt’s Gallery on Ponton Road, SW8 (see map below) and would like to get to know your local visual arts space better, why not become a Matt’s Gallery Neighbour?

Neighbours will benefit from:

  • Early morning, evening and weekend openings just for Neighbours
  • first-come-first-served spaces on private gallery tours and artist studio visits
  • direct email newsletters about what’s new.

Matt’s Gallery are excited to work with a group of Neighbours during 2023 and start a new relationship with the community nearby – both helping local people to find out first what’s going on at Matt’s Gallery and helping Matt’s Gallery hear directly from local residents.

How to get involved

If you’d like to become a Matt’s Gallery Neighbour, we’d like you to email with 2 or 3 sentences about yourself. Please include your postcode, a little bit about you, and why you’d like to become a Matt’s Gallery Neighbour. Email this information to info@nineelmsonthesouthbank.com with ‘Matt’s Neighbour’ in the subject line. You can also send this information by voice note, if you prefer.

There will not be a selection process, but we may select names at random if a large number of neighbours are interested!

Please send your application any time up to 15 December 2022. Matt’s Gallery will then invite their Neighbours to meet up early in the new year.

If you would like more information, please message info@nineelmsonthesouthbank.com or send a voice note by WhatsApp to 07971949223.
