Chocolate Films has been working with the Nine Elms Vauxhall Partnership to create an educational film about engineering in the form of animation, showcasing the different types of engineering taking place in Nine Elms. This film shows how engineers are responsible for some of the exciting new opportunities arriving in Nine Elms and how their work creates things to do and see in the area.

We are taking the film to 3 secondary schools in Nine Elms, teaching young people in the area about engineering and especially inspiring girls to become engineers. St William and St James (Berkeley Group) have kindly agreed to let one of their female engineers speak at the 3 schools to encourage young girls as much as boys to become engineers. Students from the schools will make their own films on the theme of engineering during workshops facilitated by Chocolate Films.

This film is part of the ‘Year of Engineering‘, a government campaign which celebrates the world and wonder of engineering. Working in engineering is exciting, rewarding and creative. #YoE
