This International Women’s Month, Battersea Power Station is launching the ‘Women of Wandsworth’ exhibition in Circus West Village Pop-Ups. Curated by Spare Tyre, ‘Women of Wandsworth’ shares the stories of five local women working in different fields, who are inspiring and influencing the community around them.
From sport, art and history, to education and activism, these five heroes are shaping their communities by bringing people together, making connections stronger and inspiring people to engage in determining the future of Wandsworth.
Local residents, community groups and charities have all been involved in nominating and inspiring the women chosen for this project.
Visit the exhibition throughout the month of March (from 9am – 7pm until 26 March) in the Circus West Village Pop-Ups space under Grosvenor Arch.
