Wandsworth Council is holding its first Climate Summit with an exciting line-up of online events to help businesses and residents achieve their greener goals.
The Wandsworth Climate Summit will bring together representatives of the Council, residents, community groups and organisations to discuss key issues surrounding climate change in our borough, and how we can all work together to make a difference.
Events run from 14-20 November with the following one-hour events focussed on providing insight and guidance for businesses:
Developing a sustainability strategy for your organisation – Monday 16 November 12noon
Find out more about sustainability and how to link it to your organisation with speakers including Richard Rugg, Managing Director of Programmes and Innovation at the Carbon Trust.
An introduction to the circular economy – Thursday 19 November 9.30am
The London Waste and Recycling Board will introduce the circular economy and show what it looks like in practice in London as well as how behaviour change can help sustainability.
How to reduce your carbon footprint – Friday 20 November 12.30pm
Hear from local businesses on how they have reduced their carbon emissions and become more sustainable while increasing their competitive advantage, in this session hosted by Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce.
