Visit the Lambeth Palace gardens

Thanks to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, the gardens of Lambeth Palace are now open to visitors on a regular basis for the first time in its 800-year history.

Since March this year, visitors are now able to visit the 11-acre garden on the first Wednesday of every month between March and October. Garden volunteers will be on hand to tell you more about the garden. Dating back to the 12th Century, the garden at Lambeth Palace is the oldest continuously-cultivated garden in London.

There is no need to book in advance. £4 entry; going towards the select Charity for that given month. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available to purchase.
