Wednesday night is theatre night! Get the best view in the house to watch exclusive virtual reality screenings of theatre productions.

Open to everyone, the free weekly screenings show productions from theatres large and small across the country.

So relax with a headset to experience the 360-degree show as if you were actually sitting in the audience – you can choose your own screening time between 6pm and 8pm.

19 Feb – Orpheus from The Flanagan Collective & Gobbledigook Theatre (approx 60 mins)
26 Feb – Bury the Hatchet from Sasha Wilson (approx 70 mins)
4 Mar – The Exorcism from Ross Sutherland (approx 60 mins)

Fancy having a quick go?

If you are curious about trying on a virtual reality headset and seeing what it is like to watch theatre shows this way, you are welcome to come along and try it out for 5-10 minutes without booking. If you like what you see, you could book for future screenings or stay on to watch there and then, subject to availability.

To deliver the screenings, Wandsworth Council has teamed up with LIVR – the world’s first virtual reality streaming service for theatre and the performing arts – and virtual reality headset maker, Pico Interactive.

The recommended age guidance for the autumn series of screenings is 12+ so parental/guardian discretion is advised.

Spaces are limited and there will be a small number of places on the door if not fully booked.
