The launch event will take place at The Foundry, on Monday 14 November.
Over the past five years Vauxhall One has delivered an array of services and improvements to the area, including facilitating an extra million pounds of external investment for Vauxhall’s public realm.
Since 2015 the Business Improvement District (BID) team has funded two additional Met Police officers, dedicated solely to the Vauxhall area, which has contributed to a dramatic reduction of up to 30 per cent in antisocial behaviour and crime.
BID members have saved over £150,000 by taking advantage of its free recycling scheme. Vauxhall One also runs a weekly litter pick, street-cleaning and graffiti-removal sessions, with a recent focus on deep cleaning and jet-washing the major pedestrian tunnels in the central Vauxhall area.
Vauxhall One BID Chief Executive Officer, Bernard Collier will present a brief overview of what the BID has achieved over the past five years, as well as highlighting the BID’s renewed five-year targets and area extension plans.
Refreshments and nibbles will be provided.
