Vanessa da Silva will present a new performance in collaboration with the choreographer Mary Feliciano activating the space and engaging with the sculptures and the structure of the show. Designed to work within the exhibition, the event will explore elements of da Silva’s ongoing research on cultural identities through body language, spoken words & improvisation.
The land was kissed on the mouth
The seed sowed in the South under the burning Sun
Black, red, green, blue and white flavours
A restive feeling gave power to the wind
It reached one of seven continents
A major island with no hammocks
On the way it collected strength from clashing tongues
An Inland rebound of an outland departure (VdS)
Show Continues until the 28th January 2018
Open on 19th/20th/26th/27th of January from 1-5pm and by appointment – email: firstname.lastname@example.org
