Call out for performers interested in working alongside professional dancers for an outdoor performance inspired by the public sculpture in Nine Elms – the forms, structure and ideas behind them.

As part of a summer programme of public art in the area, Lorraine Roberts is seeking people to take part in a new contemporary dance work. Participants will work on the creation of a new, site-specific dance piece across five weekly workshops, each lasting 2 hours. The final performance will take place on Saturday 25th August 2018, in the afternoon at Circus West Village, Battersea Power Station – with a dress/tech run on site the day before.

We are looking for performers (aged 17+) interested in dance, spoken word and learning new skills and collaboration. The performance will be widely advertised and professionally documented.

There are spaces for 8 dancers and some spoken word artists available on a first come, first serve basis. Guideline rehearsal schedule to be confirmed based on performer availability. Please contact Lorraine at lorraine@lorraineroberts.com if you are interested in taking part.
