Commissioned for Art Night 2018
Anna Skaldmann’s installation on the front of the Flower Market at New Covent Garden Market will remain in place throughout the summer. In Ghost in the Machine, the artist juxtaposes the errors and ghosting of her scanning machine with the fragility of exotic botanical findings that she has sourced from the market. Ghost in the Machine by Anna Skaldmann was commissioned for Art Night 2018. A project supported by joint venture company VSM (VINCI St.Modwen), working in partnership with Covent Garden Market Authority.
