The Partisan Social Club residency continues this weekend at Beacons Field Gallery, where the public are invited to ‘Musicalise your slogan’ as part of the ‘On Being Together; memberships, collectives and unions’ series.
This practical, creative workshop led by artist and musician Timothy Cape will focus on the slogans created during the Partisan Social Club’s residency, and turn them into song form. This process looks at how a slogan can be brought to life and embodied through emphasis and melody. The event will focus on how to adapt, develop and find a rhythm for your slogan.
No musical experience is required and the event is suitable for all ages.
