The Material Action project explores the idea of clay as a vehicle for creative collaboration, social engagement and cross-disciplinary making. This talk will bring together artists who have worked with the three partner galleries and whose practices involve public participation, to discuss the ways in which materials, and artists, can be used as education tools and vehicles for social interaction.
Invited artists:

– Lloyd Corporation (The Grounds We Tread, 2016, Pump House Gallery)
– Seth Pimlott (Current Participation Artist in Residence, Gasworks)
