A talk and walking tour of the new Nine Elms Gardens, the New York-inspired linear park which will run from Vauxhall to Battersea Power Station.
Led by Huw Morgan, the landscape architect behind the Embassy Gardens section of Nine Elms Gardens, members of the public will have the opportunity to learn how the space is being created. The tour will start at the Embassy Gardens marketing suite, which is landscaped to represent how the park will look when complete – bringing a wealth of varied plant life and landscaping to the area.
The tour will then continue west towards Battersea Park, taking in the completed sections of the new park, and finish in the Ambassador Building first floor garden with views of the new US Embassy and across London.
Places are limited to 20 people and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
