A network of Victorian railway arches runs through the heart of Nine Elms, Battersea and Vauxhall, presenting an opportunity to activate new spaces and celebrate local heritage and culture with an extension to London’s Low Line.

Building on the successes of railway arches already opened up in Nine Elms and Battersea, extending the Low Line from Southwark could create a new walking route from the South Bank to Battersea Power Station and support new activities and businesses along the way.

Join a talk and walking tour with Allies and Morrison and guests on 23 June 2022, to find out how shaping the use and repurposing this unique Victorian infrastructure can provide residents, local workers and visitors with a new way to experience this exciting district in South London.

Presented by Wandsworth and Lambeth councils as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2022.
