As part of the London Festival Architecture, this event, led by Chris Churchman of the award-winning Churchman Landscape Architects,  will provide an interesting insight into the emerging public realm in Nine Elms.

Churchman is responsible for designing the first phase of the new Thames River Path, a  new length of riverside path extending from Battersea to Lambeth Bridge, that runs past the front of the newly relocated US Embassy. Chris will discuss the history of the path and its ongoing evolution from marshland through heavy industry to what we see today.  The event will commence with an introductory talk at New Union Square (Embassy Gardens), followed by a guided walk along Nine Elms Lane, featuring the Thames Path and Marsh Wall.

Free entry but spaces are limited & pre-registration is required.
