London Festival of Architecture: Planning Nine Elms on the South Bank

    Mark Hunter & Tim Cronin from the Wandsworth Council Planning team and Iago Griffith from the Lambeth Council Planning team discuss Nine Elms on the South Bank from a local council perspective. Each council will offer a short presentation followed by an opportunity for Q&As. Discussion will surround the evolution of key sites, the coherent approach to tall buildings, architectural highlights and plans for the public realm – which will include the linear park. The speakers will outline how, through collaborating on the developments, each council are able to securing tangible benefits for residents through the development of infrastructure, affordable housing and employment.

    Please meet at Battersea Power Station (Gate 2) for a prompt 11am start.

    NB: Pre-registration required: please register your interest by emailing your contact details to nineelmsonthesouthbank@thecommunicationgroup.co.uk . While the event is free to attend, spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
