Paul Wilson, Director at Rolfe Judd presents Rolfe Judd’s mixed use proposal for the re-development of the Nine Elms-Sainsbury’s 13 acre site which forms part of the wider transformation of Nine Elms on the South Bank. The scheme designed for Sainsbury’s plans a major re-development of their existing site and will include a new larger store, approximately 737 new homes and the possible provision of a new underground station forming part of the new Northern line extension. The residential aspect aims to develop a series of buildings above the store and station, culminating in a group of three residential towers. Further benefits include a series of mixed uses at ground level; a new pedestrian street giving access to New Covent Garden Market and extensive roof garden amenities for all residents.
