Nine Elms and Battersea have a rich industrial heritage. Architects Projects Office and Wandsworth Council will discuss their design for Arch 42, a Victorian railway arch turned new public walking route that brings together communities on each side of the tracks.
Drawing on railway and industrial ornamentation and design elements, the new design around the Arch 42 gateways will provide a colourful, eye-catching and welcoming route underneath the busy rail line that cuts through the area.
