Literary Natives curates events to celebrate and discuss writers of colour, literature, and the road to becoming a published author. The third event will take place at the Migration Museumin Lambeth, a museum dedicated to showcasing Britain’s history of migration. This event will be part of the nationwide programme of events for Refugee Week 2018.

– The day start off with a panel discussion with three authors followed by a Q&A.

– There will be a cake and coffee break for attendees to network after the Q&A.

– We will then listen to readings and performances by poets and storytellers.

– The day will allow plenty of time for attendees to view the museum’s permanent collection and to view our own display of artwork on Dreams and Transnationality by five chosen artists.

– At the end, attendees are will get the chance to write their migration story on postcards to display in the museum. As usual, there will be a book giveaway competition based on online interaction using our hashtag #LiteraryNativesLive.
