Creative, multi-therapy & learning day (SEN and Lambeth Community Programme)

You’re invited to a Lab Life for parents and carers in Lambeth with children with Special Educational Needs.

This creative, multi-therapy and learning day is in partnership with the Lambeth National Autism Society and is aimed at Lambeth residents. We are looking to see how we can make practical and sensory learning fun for families and how we can support bridging the gap between home and school.

What can I expect at Lab Life?

  • Lambeth National Autism Society will provide parents and carers a range of resources suitable for their children to use at home, to support their additional needs. They can also design individualised resources, specific to their child’s educational needs.
  • The Institute of Imagination will be providing Imagination Pods at the event. These sensory experiences help children to explore and experiment using science, art and design technology with the aim to encourage and develop imagination, creativity and key learning skills. There are three themed pods: Looking and Exploring, Making Spaces and Sound Muddle Pod.

Who is Lab Life for and how much does it cost?

These sessions are for Lambeth residents only and are suitable for children aged 5-18 years old with special educational needs and their parents/ carers. We also welcome all siblings to attend the session. Tickets for this event are free and you can register in advance below.
