You’re invited to…find out more about volunteering with the iOi

Come to the Imagination Lab to find out more about volunteering opportunities with the iOi. Volunteers are crucial to our work and with your help, we can make a real difference to the lives of children and families.

During this 1.5 hour session, you will:

• Learn about our exciting programme of events
• Have the chance to explore the Lab and try out hands-onactivities
• Meet the iOi team
• Learn more about what role you can play as a volunteer

The session is the perfect opportunity for people who haven’t yet volunteered with us to have an introduction to the iOi. For those of you who have volunteered with us already, it could be a chance to bring along a friend or a family member to the session who’s also interested in volunteering, or to give us feedback on your experiences so far.

When and where is Volunteering Evening?
Thursday 14 June at 6:30-8:00pm, at the Imagination Lab, The Workshop, 26 Lambeth High Street, London, SE1 7JS. Please note that this session is not mandatory in order to volunteer with the iOi but a great way to meet the team and fellow volunteers and also try out some fun activities. If you can’t attend the event but would like to enquire about volunteering with us, please contact Alex at volunteer@ioi.london.

What activities will we be doing?

• Hacking Hexbugs to explore mark making
• Exploring stop frame animation and light boxes as interactive story telling aids
• Playing with chain reactions
