Come and join this 3 day cooking camp cooking foods around the world, inspired by the travels of the Tradescant plant hunters.

Each day we’ll cook a different cuisine, which will give us the opportunity to learn about that cuisine as well as practicing our knife skills, and learning how to follow a recipe. At the end of the session we will eat everything we’ve cooked!

We’ve chosen to explore world cuisine because the plants in our gardens at the museum also come from around the world.

  • Day 1, Tuesday April 3. The Caribbean
  • Day 2. Wednesday April 4. Japan
  • Day 3. Thursday April 5.  Persia

The course will take place in our new food learning studio. All food and equipment is provided and the session includes a light vegetarian lunch. The Easter camp is ideally suited to children aged 6-10 accompanied by an adult.

Since our sessions have been incredibly popular we are now operating a ballot system.  Please fill out the booking request form to register your interest and you will be notified withing two weeks whether you have a place. Ticket priority will be given to children who have not attended the cooking camp before.  This class is subsidised to keep prices affordable.

Tickets £3* per person, per day (Children and adults need a ticket).
