Chocolate Films is conducting a project working with three age groups to create films that will be screened during
Art Night. Participants are to join three age groups: 12-13 years, 14-16 years and 17-18 years.
Professional filmmaking facilitators will train participants in how to use professional camera and sound kit, different roles in the crew including director, location scouting, acting on camera and post production using Final Cut Pro 10. The groups will have total autonomy over the narrative of the fiction film, with the only starting point being the theme of ‘ Places and Stories’. The groups will create their very own film with 2 endings. These films will be screened during Art Night on 7th July, with the films shown with alternative endings at either end of the art trail.
The workshop will take place at R.O.S.E Community Clubroom on the 28, 29, 30 May in the half term holiday. Participants will get the opportunity to achieve AQA Unit awards in filmmaking.
