A Space for Flowers is a project celebrating the architecture, heritage and life of New Covent Garden Flower Market, run by Our Hut and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The exhibition includes excerpts from interviews about the market, film and photos and examples of creative work from school and community workshops. The exhibition will be at the Garden Museum until May 11th.
Alongside the exhibition Our Hut is having a Family Day on Saturday March 21st
Drop in to see the exhibition and to take part in lots of activities including hut-building, model-making, sketching, flower-making and more. The workshop is free and all materials are provided. Everyone is welcome and no booking is required, but children must be accompanied. (Entry to the workshop does not include entry to the Russell Page exhibition.)
