Battersea-based E33 Dance Company introduce their latest choreography entitled: ‘Used to Be…’ by up-and-coming choreographer Rick Fernandes.
‘Used to Be’ performances will run on the hour, every hour from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 14 May outside St Mary’s RC Primary School, SW8 4EN.
Local Nine Elms artist, Daria Hass will be running arts and mindfulness workshops alongside the performances to complement the choreography.
The six dance performances will seamlessly flow into Daria’s workshops, using the symbolism of butterfly metamorphosis to gently encourage the audience to consider how change can be challenging, but also life-giving and renewing.
The performances and workshops are suitable for all age groups.
E33 Dance Company were selected by the Nine Elms community as part of this year’s ‘Movement and Metamorphosis – Make Art in Nine Elms’ event programme, sponsored by Wandsworth Council.
