The Playground Tour by The Place features two short performances in a 40-minute double bill called How to Build A Universe, by Extended Play and Deva by Urja Desai Thakore.

The performances at the Yvonne Carr Centre are at 11am and 1pm.

How To Build A Universe by Extended Play

Children are invited to participate and dance along to lively music with two energetic performers as they reimagine the formation of our universe and planet through playfulness and creativity in How To Build A Universe.

Deva by Pagrav Dance

Two Indian classical performers will inspire young audiences to think differently and get creative with movement themselves, in an original, narrative-led dance piece.

Please do sign up in advance if possible, although there may be drop-in spaces available on the day. Register your place.

This relaxed event is aimed at children between 4 and 11 years but anyone is welcomed who will connect with the performances and activities.

There is a small amount of travel support available for families who may not be able to attend otherwise, please speak to Nina if you would like to make use of this support by emailing
