Chocolate is a beautiful ingredient filled with hundreds of aromas; during this session you’ll explore how to make the most of chocolate’s complex aromas by pairing them with a range of delicious botanical flavours inspired by plants.

In this hands-on session led by taste expert Meredith Whitely, you’ll learn how to taste chocolate properly, using all your senses. You’ll also get to experiment with some botanical flavour combinations and make your very own chocolate creations. This will be peppered with some of the fascinating history of this much-loved food.

Sample Menu

  • Dark Rose Water Ganache Truffles
  • Fruity & Herby Mendiants (chocolate thins)
  • Ginger Spiced Hot Chocolate

Use British-made bean to bar dark chocolate from Pump St Chocolate during the session.  All the recipes are dairy and soy free.

Open to all levels of skills and interests.  This class is suitable for Adults 16 and over.
