Chelsea Fringe 2018

Chelsea Fringe is back! All things horticulture take root once again this month across London, the UK and beyond, as the alternative garden festival returns for a seventh year.

The programme features a wonderful mixture of artworks, public spectacles, horticultural happenings and community celebrations.

Chelsea Fringe at Nine Elms on the South Bank puts the spotlight on local community events around Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea, where gardens and horticulture have a strong heritage and continue to define the area.

Local green landmarks include New Covent Garden Market, Battersea Park, Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, Lambeth Palace gardens and numerous pocket parks. Our Chelsea Fringe celebrates the area’s heritage and looks to the future, all the time highlighting the area’s flourishing communities. Projects will cover everything linked with gardens, plants, landscape and environment, with most events free and un-ticketed.

All activities are free unless otherwise stated.

All children must be accompanied at all times. Some events require pre-booking, as indicated. All can be pre-booked via the events below:
