For three weeks in July, a life-sized recreation of the Brexit Bus used by the Vote Leave campaign is occupying one side of the space that will soon become Matt’s Gallery at Nine Elms.

Arnaud Desjardin & Fraser Muggeridge are bringing back the infamous Brexit Bus as a publication three years after the 2016 referendum campaign. British citizens were asked: “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?”

Brexit Bus is a recreation of the iconic bright red vehicle famously adorned with the statement: “We send the EU £350 million a week let’s fund our NHS instead.”

The Brexit Bus is printed in black and white on 434 individual sheets of A3 paper. When brought together it creates a 4-metre-high, 13-metre-long image of the bus.

Visible through the windows, the display will be on show until 28 July 2019.

In 2020 Matt’s Gallery will open in two ground floor units in Bellway’s The Residence at Nine Elms. The space has been provided by Bellway through Wandsworth Council on a 25-year lease.
