Our Hut is an architecture education charity and has been working on a project funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, A Space for Flowers: The New Covent Garden Flower Market, in Nine Elms, South London. Working with schools, community groups and volunteers the project has been recording and celebrating the existing building before its demolition and raising local awareness of it as a transitional point in both the history of the market and the history of modern architecture.
Location: Pop-up stall located at the eastern end of the main fruit and vegetable market, opposite the market butcher lorry. Entrance is via the pedestrian entrance from Wandsworth Road next to the flower market – from there follow the crowds under the railway to the main market
