All the buzz in Nine Elms means there’s lots of job vacancies in construction. Dozens of job openings, apprenticeships, and other training opportunities are available for you to choose from.
If you’re interested, the good news is that there’s a service to help you with this.
Wandsworth residents can contact Wandsworth Work Match and Lambeth residents can contact Lambeth Working – the recruitment teams whose goal is to put local people in new opportunities in Nine Elms.
Many of these new jobs are a result of the 15-year development programme across Nine Elms which is making around 4,000 new affordable homes, new schools, shops, offices, NHS health centres, public parks and two new Northern line Tube stations.
There’s also a slew of exciting apprenticeships on offer: apprentice dry liners, apprentice formwork carpenters, apprentice steel fixers, apprentice finance assistants, apprentice shuttering carpenters and apprentice quantity surveyors.
